After School Program

From: $200.00 every 2 weeks and a $400.00 deposit

Servicing
the Scarborough area, our fleet of vehicles safely transport students after school to the Royal Taekwondo studio. In our designated After-School area, Students will enjoy a health conscious snack, complete a 45 minute Taekwondo fitness lesson where they can ultimately achieve their Black Belt. Students will also have time to complete their homework, do some reading or get creative with some arts & crafts and activities. (Tablets will be available for homework purposes ONLY)

Parents enjoy peace of mind that their children are taken care of after school, freeing up time for them to get off work and finish errands or prepare for dinner.

Students
in our programs follow the Royal Taekwondo values of positivity and respect, where meaningful camaraderie flourish into life-long friendships.

This program includes:

  • Transportation from school
  • Daily snacks and refreshments
  • Taekwondo fitness lessons from certified black belt instructors
  • Homework time, reading, arts & crafts, activities
  • A positive, family-centric, bully-free environment
  • Pick up time is 6:00PM

Our after school program is offered Monday to Friday.

Choose from 3-day, 4-day, or 5-day weekly programs.

Please note that tuition is paid in 2-week periods (due bi-weekly, on every other Monday) Your first and last periods are due when you sign up, and thus you will not be billed for your final 2-week period)

Please provide minimum 2-weeks notice for any cancellations or your deposit will be forfeited.

Day camps run during PA days and school strike days.

Drop off time begins 8:00am and latest pickup time is 6:00pm

Typical day camp schedule:

8:00am – 9:00am – Drop off time

9:05am – 10:00am – Quiet free play / reading time

10:15am – 10:45am – Snack time

11:00am – 11:45am – Taekwondo fitness lesson

12:00pm – 12:45pm – Lunch time

1:00pm – 2:00pm – Homework / Arts & Crafts

2:00pm – 3:00pm – Outdoor activities / Indoor obstacle courses

3:00pm – 3:30pm – Snack time

3:35pm – 5:00pm – Popcorn and Movie ( Disney movies)

5:00pm – 6:00pm – Pickup time

$50 / Day for members

$60 / Day for non-members

High Intensity Cardio

$80.00 / month

“High intensity cardio” also called high-intensity intermittent exercise (HIIE) is a form of interval training, a cardiovascular exercise strategy alternating short periods of intense anaerobic exercise with less intense recovery periods, until too exhausted to continue. Though there is no universal HIIT session duration, these intense workouts typically last about 30 minutes, with times varying based on a participant’s current fitness level. The duration of these workouts also depends on the intensity of the session. HIIT workouts provide improved athletic capacity and condition as well as improved glucose metabolism.

This program is perfect for lowering your resting heart rate while toning and strengthening your core, upper body and lower body.

Note: Classes are held three times per week (Mon, Tues, Thurs)

March Break Camp

Our Fun and Engaging March Break Camp runs from March 16th – March 20th

Activities include:

  • Day trip to Ontario Science Center
  • Taekwondo Fitness class
  • Taekwondo board breaking
  • Disney Movie + Pop Corn
  • Indoor obstacle courses
  • Arts & Crafts
  • Baking Class
  • Favorite sports team day

Daily drop off time begins 8:00am and parents pick up time is 6:00pm

Performance Taekwondo

From: $175.00 / month for 12 months

Royal Taekwondo Performance classes offers a longer one hour classes and more advance moves along with much more sparring and conditioning.

Students will be trained in upper-advanced taekwondo techniques, learning extreme kicks and moves.

Expect improvements to students’ sparring and overall taekwondo abilities and skills.

Royal Knights will be competing in tournaments.

Taekwondo

From: $130.00 / month

The Taekwondo program prepares students for competitive taekwondo, integrating higher level move sets and sparring sessions. Not only do our students expand their confidence, discipline, positivity and respect, but their belt levels are earned through the World Taekwondo Headquarters, Kukkiwon.

While competing in tournaments is not mandatory in our Taekwondo program, students benefit from heightened athletic and self-defense capabilities.

Students eager to compete, however, have the opportunity to overcome timidness by performing on stage in front of large audiences. They will also learn that winning isn’t everything, and that great sportsmanship and respect are paramount.

Note: Classes are held three times per week.

Ultimate Taekwondo

From: $200.00 / month for 12 months

Designed to unlock your full potential, Royal Taekwondo Ultimate class offers unlimited classes and a longer one and a half hour high performance class. The Royal Taekwondo Ultimate experience also focuses on more advance high performance training and deeper conditioning, advance sparring techniques and building a strong high performance Taekwondo IQ. Sparring equipment is required.

Students will be trained in upper-advanced taekwondo techniques, learning extreme kicks and moves.

Expect improvements to students’ sparring and overall taekwondo abilities and skills.

Royal Knights high performance team will also be competing in tournaments.
